With this PSU starter, you can start the power supply without it being connected to the motherboard and there is power to the entire system.

It?s a great advantage if you want to leak test your system with a 12V pump, while the system is inside the computer. That way you do not need to install it several times, and you can avoid any short-circuits in a leak.
